1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using VoxCode ("the Service", "Platform", "we", "us", or "our"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of the terms, you may not access the Service.
VoxCode is a voice-first AI coding assistant platform that provides code generation, file storage, website deployment, and related services. These Terms apply to all users worldwide, including those in the European Union, United Kingdom, and other jurisdictions with specific data protection requirements.
2. Accounts & User Eligibility
When you create an account with us, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and current at all times. Failure to do so constitutes a breach of the Terms, which may result in immediate termination of your account.
You must be at least 13 years old to use VoxCode. Users under 18 require parental consent. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and API keys. You agree not to disclose your credentials to any third party. You must notify us immediately upon becoming aware of any breach of security or unauthorized use of your account. One account per person. Multiple accounts may be suspended without refund.
We support authentication via Google and GitHub OAuth. By using these services, you also agree to their respective terms of service.
3. AI Services & Generated Content
VoxCode uses artificial intelligence models from multiple providers (including OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and others via OpenRouter) to generate code and content. You acknowledge that:
Accuracy: AI-generated code may contain errors, bugs, security vulnerabilities, or licensing issues. You are solely responsible for reviewing, testing, and validating all code before use in production environments. Ownership: You retain ownership of the code you generate using the Service, subject to the terms of the underlying AI model providers. Some AI models may have restrictions on commercial use or output ownership. No Warranty: We make no guarantees regarding the quality, safety, accuracy, originality, or suitability of AI-generated content for any particular purpose. Third-Party Models: When using Bring Your Own Key (BYOK) features, you are subject to the terms and pricing of your chosen AI provider. Content Filtering: We reserve the right to filter, block, or refuse to process requests that violate our policies or applicable laws.
4. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of VoxCode and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the Country and foreign countries.
4. Subscription Plans, Credits & Payments
VoxCode offers multiple subscription tiers (Free, Access, Starter, Premium) with varying features and credit allocations. Credits are consumed when using AI models and certain platform features.
Billing: Subscriptions are billed monthly or annually via LemonSqueezy. All prices are in USD unless otherwise stated. Credits: Credits are non-refundable and expire according to your subscription tier. Unused credits do not roll over unless specified in your plan. Renewals: Subscriptions automatically renew unless cancelled before the renewal date. You can cancel anytime from your account settings. Refunds: Payments are generally non-refundable as we offer a Free Forever plan for testing. Please refer to our dedicated Refund Policy for more details. Price Changes: We reserve the right to modify pricing with 30 days notice. Existing subscriptions will be honored at their original price until renewal. Taxes: Prices exclude applicable taxes (VAT, GST, etc.). EU customers will be charged VAT based on their country of residence.
5. Data Storage & File Services
VoxCode provides local Virtual File System (VFS) storage in your browser and cloud storage via VoxCloud (powered by Backblaze B2).
Local Storage: VFS files are stored in your browser's localStorage. We are not responsible for data loss due to browser cache clearing or device issues. Cloud Storage: VoxCloud files are stored on Backblaze B2 servers. Storage limits apply based on your subscription tier. Backups: You are responsible for maintaining backups of your code. We provide cloud storage as a convenience but do not guarantee data availability. Data Retention: Inactive accounts may have their cloud files deleted after 90 days of inactivity. Active subscribers retain files indefinitely. File Content: You are solely responsible for the content of files you store. We reserve the right to remove files that violate our policies.
6. Website Deployment Services
VoxCode allows you to deploy websites to custom subdomains (*.voxcode.space) via Vercel integration.
Deployment Limits: Free tier: 5 deployments, Access tier: 20 deployments, Starter/Premium: unlimited deployments. Subdomain Ownership: Subdomains cannot be changed after initial deployment. They remain linked to your project. Content Responsibility: You are solely responsible for the content of deployed websites. Illegal or harmful content will result in immediate takedown and account suspension. Uptime: We do not guarantee 100% uptime for deployed websites. Deployments are subject to Vercel's terms and availability. Bandwidth: Excessive bandwidth usage may result in throttling or additional charges.
7. Voice Services
VoxCode provides voice input (speech-to-text via OpenAI Whisper) and voice output (text-to-speech via ElevenLabs, DesiVocal, and Noiz.ai).
Audio Processing: Voice data is processed by third-party providers. We do not store voice recordings permanently. Accuracy: Voice transcription may contain errors. Review all transcribed text before executing commands. Privacy: Voice data is transmitted securely but may be processed by third-party AI providers subject to their privacy policies.
8. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to use the Service:
In any way that violates any applicable national or international law or regulation (including GDPR, CCPA, and other data protection laws). To generate malicious code, malware, ransomware, or content intended to harm others. To attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service. To deploy websites containing illegal content, hate speech, harassment, or copyright-infringing material. To abuse rate limits, create spam, or engage in automated scraping without permission. To impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or entity. To share your account credentials or API keys with unauthorized third parties.
9. Privacy & Data Protection (GDPR Compliance)
We take your privacy seriously and comply with GDPR, CCPA, and other applicable data protection regulations. Please review our Privacy Policy for detailed information.
Data We Collect:
Account information (name, email, profile picture from OAuth providers) Usage data (messages, code generated, tokens used, features accessed) Payment information (processed by LemonSqueezy, we do not store credit card details) Files and code you create or upload to VoxCloud Technical data (IP address, browser type, device information, logs)
Your Rights (EU/UK Users):

10. Third-Party Services & Integrations
VoxCode integrates with multiple third-party services. You acknowledge that:

We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party services. You acknowledge and agree that VoxCode shall not be responsible or liable, directly or indirectly, for any damage or loss caused by or in connection with use of any such services.
11. Intellectual Property
The Service and its original content (excluding content provided by users), features, and functionality are and will remain the exclusive property of VoxCode and its licensors. The Service is protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws of both the United States and foreign countries.
Your Content: You retain all rights to code and content you create using VoxCode. License to Us: By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to store, process, and display your content solely for providing the Service. Trademarks: VoxCode, the VoxCode logo, and related marks are trademarks of VoxCode. You may not use these without permission. AI-Generated Content: Ownership of AI-generated content may be subject to the terms of the underlying AI model providers.
12. Termination
We may terminate or suspend your account immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.
Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. You may delete your account at any time from account settings. Upon account deletion, your data will be removed within 30 days, except where retention is required by law. Deployed websites may remain active for up to 7 days after account termination before being removed. No refunds will be provided for unused subscription time or credits upon termination.
13. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW:
In no event shall VoxCode, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from:
Your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service Any conduct or content of any third party on the Service Any content obtained from the Service, including AI-generated code Unauthorized access, use or alteration of your transmissions or content Data loss, corruption, or deletion from VFS or VoxCloud storage Downtime, errors, or failures of deployed websites
Our total liability to you for all claims arising from or related to the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.
Note for EU Users: Nothing in these Terms shall exclude or limit our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law.
14. Disclaimer of Warranties
Your use of the Service is at your sole risk. The Service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis. The Service is provided without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to:
Implied warranties of merchantability Fitness for a particular purpose Non-infringement Accuracy, reliability, or completeness of AI-generated content Uninterrupted, secure, or error-free operation
Note for EU Users: Statutory rights under EU consumer protection laws are not affected by this disclaimer.
15. Indemnification
You agree to defend, indemnify and hold harmless VoxCode and its licensors, employees, contractors, agents, officers and directors from and against any and all claims, damages, obligations, losses, liabilities, costs or debt, and expenses (including but not limited to attorney's fees) arising from: (i) your use of and access to the Service; (ii) your violation of any term of these Terms; (iii) your violation of any third party right, including without limitation any copyright, property, or privacy right; (iv) any claim that your content caused damage to a third party; or (v) any content you deploy via the Service.
16. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
For EU Users: If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you will benefit from any mandatory provisions of the law of the country in which you are resident. Nothing in these Terms affects your rights as a consumer to rely on such mandatory provisions of local law.
Dispute Resolution:We encourage you to contact us first to resolve any disputes. If we cannot resolve a dispute informally, you agree to resolve disputes through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law. EU consumers have the right to use the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

17. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect. What constitutes a material change will be determined at our sole discretion.
By continuing to access or use our Service after those revisions become effective, you agree to be bound by the revised terms. If you do not agree to the new terms, please stop using the Service.
18. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is held to be unenforceable or invalid, such provision will be changed and interpreted to accomplish the objectives of such provision to the greatest extent possible under applicable law and the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
19. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the entire agreement between us regarding our Service, and supersede and replace any prior agreements we might have between us regarding the Service.
