1Introduction
This Cookie Policy explains how VoxCode ("we", "us", or "our") uses cookies and similar tracking technologies on our website and application. By using our service, you consent to the use of cookies as described in this policy.
2What are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files that are stored on your device (computer, tablet, or smartphone) when you visit a website. They serve various purposes such as remembering your login details, preferences, and providing session consistency.
3Types of Cookies We Use
Strictly Necessary
Essential for the website to function correctly. This includes login sessions, authentication tokens, and security features. These cannot be disabled.
Preference Cookies
Allow us to remember choices you make, such as your theme (dark/light mode), preferred AI model, and VFS settings.
Analytics Cookies
Help us understand how users interact with VoxCode by collecting and reporting information anonymously (e.g., page views, feature usage frequency).
4Local Storage & VFS
Beyond traditional cookies, VoxCode heavily utilizes your browser's **localStorage** and **IndexedDB** to provide the Virtual File System (VFS).
Note: Clearing your browser's local storage will delete your project files if they haven't been synced to VoxCloud or GitHub.
5Managing Your Cookies
Most browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. You can set your browser to refuse or block all cookies, or to indicate when a cookie is being sent. However, parts of the application may not work correctly if you disable cookies.
